Our parent company is Sammons Enterprises Inc., based in Dallas, one of the world’s largest privately owned companies, with assets approaching $131bn, operations in 4 countries and more than 6,500 employees worldwide.

Its portfolio is made up of wholly owned businesses and investor partnerships in sectors such as insurance, property, infrastructure and equipment distribution. We share the Sammons ethos of a workplace environment in which employees are empowered in their ability to influence the success of the company.

There are also other Briggs Equipment businesses, making us the world’s largest dealer for the Hyster-Yale range of materials handling equipment. With Briggs locations across the southern states of the US, Briggs also has operations in Mexico, offering many of the same industrial equipment solutions as we do in the UK and Ireland.
